Every employee needs to shaped into employees which would be beneficial for your company and this can’t be done just by telling them what you need but in fact by giving them necessary training and developing them into the people you need.

No matter how talented your employees are, you need to keep on training them and giving theoretical and practical exposure before they start the actual work.

Here are few reasons which make training and development necessary for better performance:

Training and development help in improving the base of all the knowledge the employees have and give them some practical exposure before they actually start the real work. This is important as many of the employees may not have any kind of practical exposure to the tasks that are being trained for. Training can also give a better idea of what needs to be done on the job by them and make them able to stay ready for it which boosts the confidence of the employees. This can really up the performance of all the employees helping in achieving a good output.

Training and development help in better performance from the employees which eventually results in better efficiency. Better efficiency helps in achieving better productivity which really benefits highly for the company. Increased productivity helps in better profitability by increasing the revenue of the company. Helps in achieving a better turnover and larger market share.

· Overcoming weaknesses:

Many of the employees have some weaknesses, training and development can help in overcoming these weaknesses and making them better at work. This can help in avoiding any kind of loopholes in the project that can be caused due to these weaknesses making the chances of success of project even higher. This can help in bringing all the employees to a similar level in terms of skill and knowledge making them more confident about themselves and avoiding any kind of discrimination of work. The projects can than go on without any kind of interruption or requirement of regular supervision which eventually increases the speed of project and makes it much more efficient than ever before.

Training and development can also work as a motivation for the employees. As employees keep on gaining new knowledge and skills and keep on developing into a better version of themselves, they start to feel more confident about themselves and it motivates them to work hard and show the knowledge and skills that they have been developing during the training into the work.

As you provide training and development to your employees, they feel more valued and important to the company and also start to develop good feeling for the company. This makes them more loyal to the company and are less likely to give up on your company, and are resistant to change the employer. This is likely to be seen by the employees as benefits which will make them feel better about the company.
